Lahore Qalanders' Squad for PSL 9
Lahore Qalandars face a significant setback in their PSL 9 campaign as star player Rashid Khan has been ruled out of the tournament due to a lower-back injury, leading to his recent surgery. The Afghanistan superstar, a pivotal player for both his country and the Qalandars, underwent surgery, forcing him to miss the upcoming season.
Rashid Khan's absence was notable as he also skipped the Australian Big Bash League, South Africa's (SA20), and the ongoing T20I series between Afghanistan and India. Afghan head coach Jonathan Trott expressed the importance of prioritizing Rashid's recovery, emphasizing the need to ensure he is fully ready before making a comeback.
